Overcast

MACH Alliance partnerships
Overcast is a cloud digital and asset management (DAM/MAM) and video intelligence platform built for video-heavy enterprise workflows. It gives brands, agencies and broadcasters a single, searchable home for video and media assets, covering the full journey from ingest and AI-powered indexing through to search, compliance, distribution and long-term archive. The platform ranges from a self-serve entry DAM tier through to full MAM/PAM orchestration, with standalone modules for AI-driven archive search and ad-tech compliance automation. Overcast is used by organisations including Diageo, ABInBev, ProSiebenSat.1, YETI Coolers and the ATP Tour, and can be deployed cloud-first or hybrid depending on a client's infrastructure needs.
Overcast joined MACH Alliance because their customers increasingly expect their media infrastructure to plug into a wider, composable technology stack rather than sit inside a closed suite. As an API-first platform, Overcast is built to integrate with best-of-breed commerce, CMS, personalisation and other DAM-adjacent tools, and they see their role in the ecosystem as bringing video and media compliance specifically into that composable model, an area that has often had less attention than commerce and content management. They're keen to collaborate with fellow members on joint integrations and use cases that make video assets easier to find, reuse, verify and activate across the wider MACH stack.
Their mission is to turn video and media archives from a cost and compliance burden into a source of commercial value, using AI to make every asset findable, reusable and compliant, so marketing, production and legal teams spend less time searching for content and more time using it.
In the past 12 months, Overcast has extended an Advanced Tier partnership with TwelveLabs Inc. to bring natural-language video intelligence, at timecode-level, to customer archives; built out Verify, a compliance workflow that cuts ad-tech rights and clearance handoffs from weeks to days; and integrated with Lucidlnk’s remote storage to provide the leading creative workflow for brands, showcased by Corona Cero campaign at the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics in April 2026. Overcast has also achieved SOC 2 and AWS's GenAI competency, underpinning AI indexing capabilities (transcription, subtitles, object, text and celebrity recognition, and generative metadata) built on AWS Bedrock and Claude AI infrastructure and models.
Over the next 6 months, Overcast plans to extend agentic AI capabilities so that search, tagging and rights clearance increasingly happen with less manual intervention, and to deepen natural-language archive activation through their DeepSearch module. They're also expanding into new markets and use cases in sport, retail and broadcast, building on client work such as ATP Tour and SOK Finland, with the aim of making the media archive as active a business asset as any other enterprise system.
