Engineer, Agent Ecosystem

Duration: Full-time position
Focus: Agentic systems integration & delivery

Profile:

This role suits an engineer who can navigate ambiguity without getting stuck in it - someone who experiments to learn quickly, then commits to building systems others can actually use. You are comfortable working in emerging technical domains, able to operate independently with guidance, and focused on delivering practical outcomes rather than open-ended research.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an engineer to design, integrate, and evolve agentic systems that support the Agent Ecosystem initiative. The emphasis is hands-on implementation: connecting platforms, tools, and agent-driven workflows into coherent, production-ready systems that enable pilots and early deployments. Working closely with the Program Lead, you will translate ecosystem strategy into functioning technical capabilities and contribute reusable technical patterns.

What You’ll Do:

System Integration & Implementation

  • Design and implement integrations across agent platforms, enterprise tools, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Translate conceptual agent workflows into structured, repeatable technical implementations.
  • Connect multi-vendor tools and services into cohesive, interoperable solutions.

Agent Workflows & Ecosystem Tooling

  • Build and refine agent-driven workflows that support ecosystem pilots, demonstrations, and early deployments.
  • Contribute to reference implementations and reusable components that accelerate future ecosystem work.
  • Support multi-agent and orchestration patterns where appropriate.

Production Readiness & Reliability

  • Ensure solutions are observable, testable, and maintainable.
  • Implement logging, evaluation, and fallback mechanisms that support safe operation.
  • Balance speed of iteration with stability and governance.

Collaboration & Enablement

  • Work closely with the Program Lead and delivery teams to align technical execution with ecosystem roadmap priorities.
  • Document patterns, decisions, and integration approaches to enable reuse.
  • Share technical learnings externally through demos, talks, and written content.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Agentic systems and integrations enable visible ecosystem pilots, demos, and early partner collaborations.
  • Technical patterns and reference implementations reduce friction for future integrations and deployments.
  • Systems are reliable, understandable, and adaptable rather than experimental or fragile.
  • Work consistently moves from concept to functioning implementation without excessive oversight.
  • Technical contributions support the broader ecosystem roadmap and demonstrate steady, cumulative progress rather than isolated prototypes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience integrating complex systems, APIs, or enterprise platforms.
  • Working knowledge of agentic AI concepts, workflow orchestration, or intelligent automation.
  • Ability to move from prototype to production with attention to reliability and maintainability.
  • Strong bias toward learning through implementation — using working code to test assumptions, surface constraints, and inform direction.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, emerging technical environments without losing delivery focus.
  • Practical problem-solving orientation, prioritizing usable outcomes over theoretical perfection.
  • Proven experience being highly productive in teams of 1–3, including periods of solo ownership.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently within a defined strategic framework.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
