The problem
Why this exists
A shopping assistant that only finds products leaves the shopper to build the cart, hunt down the offer they were sent, and check out alone. What the shopper says in the chat also stays in the chat, where marketing cannot use it.

What this demonstrates
- Product search and filtering by everyday attributes, such as color, from the store's catalog inside the chat.
- The cart is built in the chat, and a coupon from a push notification the shopper forgot is found and applied.
- Preferences learned in conversation, such as price sensitivity, are written back to the shopper's profile.

How it works
Architecture
The chat interface shows streamed messages, product carousels, and suggestion chips. The agent runs on Gemini through Google's Agent Development Kit, hosted on Cloud Run, and chooses among 28 tools the team built according to what the shopper asks.

Bloomreach provides product search, profile, preferences, recommendations, and events over its API and webhooks, and the agent writes events and profile updates back. Shopify provides the cart, checkout, payment, order status, and account details through its GraphQL API.
