Greenlight Campaign Send Guard

Stop marketing emails from promoting products a shopper cannot buy in their size.

Checks that every product a marketing email recommends is sellable in the shopper's size before the email goes out.

What the agent does

Checks each recommended product is in stock in the right size, swaps or suppresses it, and adds a one-tap checkout link.

01
The problem

Why this exists

A marketing email that recommends a product the shopper cannot buy in their size wastes the send and frustrates the customer. The recommendation is chosen for the shopper, and nothing in the send checks it against what is actually in stock.

02
Outcomes

What this demonstrates

  • Every recommended product is checked for sellable stock in the right size before the email is sent.
  • When a pick is not sellable, an in-stock alternative takes its place.
  • Each email carries a one-tap checkout link created for that product.

  • When nothing is sellable, no email goes out.

How it works

Architecture

A Databricks model picks products for each shopper. Before Bloomreach sends the email, Greenlight checks each pick against inventory through Ekyam, which brings inventory data into one layer. The build also uses Kafka and Neo4j, and runs on Google Kubernetes Engine and Cloud Run.

If the pick is sellable in the right size, Greenlight mints a one-tap Shopify checkout for it. If not, it swaps in an in-stock alternative, and if nothing is sellable, it stops the send.

What this page does not establish

  • Built in a hackathon on a demo store, so there are no results from real shoppers.
  • There is no public code or live demo; the recorded demo video is the public record.
  • No retailer runs Greenlight in production yet.
