Vincent builds a full campaign configuration from a marketing brief and issues support compensation vouchers on request.
Builds a full campaign configuration from a written brief, and issues a per-customer compensation code when a support team asks.
Altitude Sports runs more than 10 campaign types at once: membership discounts, gift cards, store credits, coupons, automatic cart promotions, and shipping offers, all interacting with each other in ways that got harder to predict as the catalog grew past 2.8 million SKUs.
On the monolith, what should have been marketing decisions were engineering projects. The team held customer data with no fast path to act on it, and a support agent issuing a single compensation voucher had to work through a multi-step manual process.
Vincent connects to Voucherify over the Model Context Protocol, which it uses to read from and act in the platform through its API. It does not replace the promotion engine; it calls it, which is what keeps the rules that govern an incentive in one place.
The integration is secured end to end with OAuth. The user signs in once and that single OAuth token is carried by Vincent through the MCP layer to the APIs it calls. No fixed keys or credentials are stored or passed by hand, which is the property that makes an agent acting on a customer's incentives auditable back to a person.
Other systems connect the same way, as additional MCP services authenticated through OAuth. That includes Bloomreach and partner tooling.
The wider architecture is what made the agent addable at all. Altitude Sports decomposed a monolith with Orium as systems integrator into commercetools for commerce, Algolia for search, Contentful for content, Vercel for hosting, Fluent Commerce for order management, Bloomreach for CRM and messaging, and Voucherify for the full incentive layer. Each system exposes clean APIs, so each is a capability an agent can call.
