Role Overview

We’re seeking a senior leader to shape the Agent Ecosystem initiative at agentecosystem.org. This role focuses on developing a clear strategic roadmap and supporting early execution - working closely with Alliance leadership and delivery teams to ensure clear direction, alignment, and momentum.

What You’ll Do

Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and evolve the Agent Ecosystem roadmap in alignment with Alliance priorities
  • Clarify the role of agents, partners, and enterprises within the ecosystem
  • Translate agentic concepts into a coherent, phased program

Partnerships & Collaboration Model

  • Define who the Alliance partners with across platforms, infrastructure providers, integrators, and enterprises
  • Establish how partnerships work: engagement models, expectations, and collaboration patterns
  • Identify strategic partners and priority collaboration opportunities that advance the Agent Ecosystem

External Leadership

  • Act as a senior external-facing representative for the Agent Ecosystem
  • Support partner discussions, ecosystem briefings, and early proof points
  • Help position the initiative as a credible, practical reference for enterprise agentic adoption

Alignment & Enablement

  • Establish appropriate goals, metrics and interim milestones for the initiative
  • Ensure the right structures, resourcing, and ownership are in place to support the roadmap
  • Work with Alliance leadership to identify capability gaps, dependencies, and sequencing
  • Help align certification, delivery, and communications efforts to ecosystem priorities

What Success Looks Like

  • A clear Agent Ecosystem roadmap is defined and in motion, providing shared direction for members, partners, and enterprises.
  • Early partner-led, multi-vendor agent collaborations are visible through demos, pilots, and initial deployments.
  • Executive and partner engagement with the Agent Ecosystem shows steady, sustained momentum.

What We’re Looking For

  • An understanding of the current MACH ecosystem and how it is evolving
  • Strong understanding of agentic AI, multi-agent systems, or agent orchestration and active interpretation of current developments
  • Experience shaping partnership strategies, alliances, or ecosystem models
  • Strategic thinker comfortable operating in ambiguous, emerging domains
  • Confident external communicator with senior stakeholders
  • Effective working independently in a part-time, freelance role
