Sector8 AI is building a runtime decision and governance layer for AI agents, copilots and intelligent applications. As organisations increasingly connect AI to APIs, business systems and customer data, Sector8 provides the controls needed to ensure AI actions are authorised, explainable and aligned with organisational policies before execution.

Rather than replacing existing MACH technologies, Sector8 complements them by adding runtime policy enforcement, identity and context validation, tool and data access controls, and audit-ready evidence across AI-driven workflows. This enables enterprises to safely adopt AI while preserving the flexibility, composability and interoperability that define MACH architectures.

Sector8 is focused on helping enterprises move AI from experimentation into production with confidence, supporting regulated industries where governance, security and trust are essential.

Sector8 extends the MACH ecosystem by providing governance for AI-powered composable architectures. As AI agents increasingly orchestrate workflows across MACH applications, APIs and services, Sector8 acts as the decision gate that ensures those interactions remain secure, policy-compliant and observable. We are looking to collaborate with MACH members to enable trusted AI across composable enterprise environments.

Their mission is to help organisations adopt AI safely and responsibly without slowing innovation. They believe enterprises should be able to deploy AI agents with the same confidence they deploy any other business-critical technology, supported by transparent controls, policy enforcement and evidence-based governance.

Recent Innovations:

  • Developed a runtime decision gate that evaluates AI actions before execution using identity, context, tool permissions and organisational policy.
  • Introduced policy-driven controls for AI prompts, outputs, tool calls and agent workflows with configurable allow, deny and escalation decisions.
  • Built comprehensive audit evidence capabilities that capture AI decisions, supporting governance, security investigations and regulatory requirements.
  • Designed an architecture that integrates with enterprise AI platforms and composable systems while remaining deployment-flexible across cloud, private and enterprise-controlled environments.

Over the next 12 to 18 months, Sector8 will establish a new category of runtime AI governance for composable enterprise architectures. As AI agents become active participants in business processes, they believe organisations will require a dedicated decision layer that governs AI interactions across applications, APIs and data sources. Their focus is to become the trusted runtime control layer that enables enterprises to safely scale AI across MACH ecosystems rather than limiting innovation through restrictive governance.
