Pureinsights

Pureinsights helps organizations give people and AI agents reliable access to their content and data. As enterprises move from search boxes to AI agents that research and act, search becomes the foundation those agents depend on. An agent that retrieves outdated or wrong information can’t be trusted to act. Pureinsights combines consulting, managed services, and its Pureinsights Discovery platform to build and run AI search, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI assistants, and agentic applications. Its customers include publishers, market intelligence firms, retailers, and public sector organizations. Its leadership has delivered large-scale search since 2005, including for the National Archives, the Library of Congress, and the Publications Office of the European Union.
Discovery follows all four MACH principles. Its cloud-native microservices let connectors, pipelines, and query services scale independently. It is API-first and headless, so the same services can power a website, an assistant, or an AI agent using search as a tool. It is composable, working with the customer’s choice of vector database, AI model, or search engine, including Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Solr, MongoDB Atlas, and Vespa. Customers can swap components as AI evolves without rebuilding.
Pureinsights joined the MACH Alliance because agentic AI depends on open, composable systems, and search is central to that. Agents that shop, answer questions, or support employees must first find accurate information. Pureinsights works with commerce platforms, systems integrators, and data providers to supply that search and retrieval layer. It is also MongoDB’s Global AI SI Partner of the Year for 2025.
Mission
Pureinsights helps organizations turn their information into trustworthy answers, for people and for the AI agents working on their behalf. It focuses on what makes AI work in production: content quality, accurate retrieval, relevance, access control, and measurement. Customers keep control of their technology and their data.
Recent innovations
- Grounded retrieval for agents. Discovery gives assistants and agents accurate, current content, reducing hallucinations and keeping answers traceable to their sources.
- New AI integrations. Recent integrations with Anthropic Claude, ChatGPT, Voyage AI and Vespa expand customer choice for semantic and hybrid search.
- Anthropic Claude integration (Discovery 2.12, September 2026). Claude-powered inference now works across both ingestion and query pipelines. Teams can use Claude to classify, summarize, and enrich content as it is ingested, and to power generative answers and assistants at query time.
- MCP support for agentic AI (Discovery 2.8, April 2026). Discovery now supports the Model Context Protocol. AI agents can call Discovery’s search and retrieval services directly as tools.
- Broader enterprise data access (Discovery 2.8). New connectors for SharePoint Online, OracleDB, SMB, and LDAP expand out-of-the-box data access for AI pipelines, so agents can work from more of an organization’s content.
- Composable model and engine choices (Discovery 2.1 and 2.2, 2025). Integrations with Voyage AI and Vespa.ai for hybrid search at scale let customers pick the embedding models and search engines that suit each use case.
Looking ahead
Over the next 12 to 18 months, Pureinsights will focus on two areas:
- Content processing for RAG and GraphRAG. Discovery will structure enterprise content into connected knowledge, giving organizations a more affordable, composable alternative to large data-intelligence platforms.
- Protecting proprietary data. Pureinsights will help information providers offer AI agents access to their content on their own terms, preserving the value that sets them apart.
