With two terms on the MACH Alliance Executive Board under her belt, Jasmin Guthmann knows what makes this community work: competing vendors who choose to collaborate, practitioners who share implementation realities (not just success stories), and the trust that comes from vendor-neutral spaces where honest conversations can happen.
Now, as Community Chair, she's taking on a different challenge - doubling down on turning the MACH Alliance into the connective tissue between vendors, practitioners, and emerging technology communities as enterprises navigate AI integration, increasing system complexity, and the pressure to build future-proof, composable architectures.

Enterprise architecture is shifting. Organizations are integrating AI capabilities, connecting more systems, and demanding proof that composable approaches actually work at scale. The MACH community has the implementation experience, the vendor collaboration models, and the practitioner network to help - but only if we're visible, accessible, and actively connecting the right people to the right challenges.
Jasmin's role is to make those connections happen and to ensure the community's expertise reaches the practitioners who need it most.
Jasmin won't do this alone. Working closely with the MACH Alliance Core Team and community volunteers, she'll focus on creating the infrastructure, relationships, and spaces where collaboration becomes the default - not the exception.
Three Core Priorities
1. Make the Community Platform Work for Real Problems
The platform needs to be where members go first when they hit an implementation challenge. Jasmin is focused on creating a member experience where you can find relevant answers, connect with peers solving similar problems, and contribute your expertise within hours of joining. Success means practitioners choose the community over Google when they're stuck.
2. Supercharge People in MACH
Jasmin will continue co-leading the People in MACH mentorship program alongside executive sponsor Kimberly Matenchuk - one of the Alliance's most successful community initiatives to date. Her focus is on expanding the program's reach, deepening mentor-mentee connections, and ensuring the next generation of MACH practitioners has access to the expertise and relationships that accelerate their careers. Success means more professionals equipped to lead composable architecture initiatives and a stronger talent pipeline across the ecosystem.
3. Facilitate the Hard Conversations
The most valuable dialogues happen when competing vendors sit down with practitioners to solve real implementation challenges together. Jasmin will moderate these sessions at Alliance events, document the patterns that emerge, and ensure the community's collective learning is captured and shared. These aren't polished case studies - they're honest conversations about what works, what doesn't, and what we're all still figuring out.
In 12 months, members should be able to point to specific connections made, problems solved, and knowledge shared because the community showed up. Practitioners outside the Alliance should recognize MACH as the place where composable architecture expertise lives. And vendors should see measurable value in the collaborative relationships Jasmin helps facilitate.
Jasmin's approach has always been about activating the community, not performing for it. She needs practitioners willing to share implementation stories (including the messy parts), vendors committed to collaboration over competition, and volunteers ready to co-create the spaces where this work happens.
The MACH Alliance community has always punched above its weight because members choose to contribute. As Community Chair, Jasmin is here to make that contribution easier, more visible, and more connected to the challenges that matter most right now.
