Key Event Details

Arrival: Stadium doors open at 1:30 pm (changing and showers available). Kick-Off: 2:00 pm sharp.

Format:

  • Pitch split into 4 areas, each hosting 6 teams (4 groups total).
  • Each team plays at least 5 games (9 minutes each; 45 minutes total).
  • Top two teams from each group progress to separate finals.
  • Trophies are awarded to winners of each final.

Referees & First Aid: On-site throughout.

Practical Rules & Advice

  • Team Size & Substitutions: Bring as many players as you like; substitute on and off freely during matches. 5-a-side tournament.
  • Shin Pads: Optional but recommended.
  • Footwear: Suitable for grass.
  • Kick-ins: Used instead of throw-ins.
  • Kit & Bibs: Wear a general block colour or your own kit. Bibs provided if required.
  • Friendly Play: Unsporting behavior won’t be tolerated.
  • Refreshments: Bring your own if desired; on-site options may be limited.

By Tube: The nearest stations include White City (Central Line) ~5–10 mins, and Shepherd’s Bush Market (Hammersmith & City). By Overground: Shepherd’s Bush Overground ~15 mins. By Bus: Various routes along Uxbridge Road stop close by. By Car: Limited on-street parking; paid options available at Westfield Shopping Centre.

Post-Tournament

Bar: Opens from 4:30 pm at the stadium.Drinks/Pizza: We’ll host a get-together at a nearby bar (details TBC).
